Sun World Announces Management Changes

Bakersfield, California, November 21, 2011—Sun World International, LLC, one of California's leading fruit growers and a member of American/Western Fruit Grower's Top 100 Growers list, has announced that following the anticipated retirement of Allen Vangelos, Sun World's current president and CEO, David Dever has been appointed the firm's president and chief executive officer.

Dever will begin in his new position on Jan. 16, 2012. He currently serves as CEO of Pandol, Bros. Inc., an import and export produce company. Allen Vangelos, Sun World's current President and CEO, is retiring to pursue personal interests but will remain a member of Sun World's Board of Managers. Vangelos has served as CEO since June 2008, and prior to that served as a manager, beginning in October 2006.

Christopher Parker, Chairman of the Board of Managers, commented, "On behalf of the Board of Managers and the entire management team, I would like to express our gratitude to Al not only for his leadership as President and CEO, but also for the hard work and dedication that he has given to Sun World. We wish him the best in his well-deserved retirement." Parker continued, "Sun World's Board and management team are confident that after an extensive search, David Dever is the right person to be our next CEO and we look forward to his contributions"

"I am excited to join the Sun World family" stated Dever. "Sun World's international reputation for quality products backed by a well-qualified and innovative team provides a great foundation from which to build. I look forward to working with such a talented and dedicated group of people."

"I want to thank Sun World's Board and management team for these last six years," said Vangelos. "I am proud to have been part of the company's growth and evolution into a premier agricultural company."
